As healthcare professionals, pharmacists play a critical role in dismantling racism and actively working toward more equitable care for all patients. This means going beyond simply being non-racist, requiring ongoing education and a commitment to understanding how systemic biases, including gaps in clinical training, contribute to disparities in care. By doing this work, pharmacists can deliver truly patient-centered care that reflects the needs of every patient they serve.
