Overview
Selling or leaving your pharmacy can require the transfer of patient and pharmacy information. This process will differ depending on your subscription level.
Selling and Leaving Your Practice (Per-Pharmacy Subscription)
Please note that steps 4-7 are only necessary if the new pharmacy owner plans to continue with MAPflow.
- Select My Pharmacy from the left-hand menu.
- Select Billing.
- Next to your payment method, select Remove, then select Confirm.
- Select Users. Below Invite your team, enter the new Pharmacy owner/manager's personal email address. If they already have a MAPflow account, you will need to enter the email associated with it.
- Use the Role drop-down to set their permissions, then select Invite.
- MAPflow will automatically reach out to your team member via email, providing all the information they need to join the Pharmacy.
- Once they have joined, select the drop-down next to their name below the User Type column, then select Admin.
- Next to your name, below the Actions column, select the trash bin icon, then select Confirm.
Selling and Leaving Your Practice (Individual Subscription)
MAPflow does not facilitate the transfer of individual subscriptions. The new pharmacist/pharmacy team will need to purchase their own individual MAPflow subscriptions. Once the new pharmacist/pharmacy team has purchased their individual subscription(s), the previous pharmacy admin can follow the steps below to facilitate the transfer.
Please note that steps 1-4 are only necessary if the new pharmacy owner plans to continue with MAPflow.
- Select My Pharmacy from the left-hand menu.
- Below Invite your team, enter the new Pharmacy owner/manager's personal email address, the one they used to purchase MAPflow.
- Use the Role drop-down to set their permissions, then select Invite.
- MAPflow will automatically reach out to them, and share a secure link they can use to join the Pharmacy. Once they have joined, select the drop-down next to their name below the User Type column, then select Admin.
- Next to your name, below the Actions column, select the trash bin icon, then select Confirm.
Note: Once the new pharmacy manager is an admin, they can repeat steps 3-4 using the email addresses of their team to invite the new pharmacy staff.
