Overview
It is a legal requirement for each patient to provide informed consent for both in-person and virtual minor ailment services. Patients must also provide verbal consent to MAPflow's privacy policy, which is documented in the checklist upon initiating each minor ailment assessment.
Pharmacists are encouraged to print and display a paper copy of the MAPflow Privacy Policy information sheet. This should be displayed in a location that is easy for patients to see within the pharmacy. Patients can view and read the full privacy policy by scanning the QR code on the information sheet or by requesting a paper copy from the pharmacist.
For virtual minor ailment consultations, pharmacists should provide the direct URL to the MAPflow Privacy Policy.
