Utilizing the Other Treatment Option

MAPflow allows pharmacists to prescribe medications that are not captured within MAPflow's treatment algorithms.

 

How to Utilize the Other Treatment Option

  1. Navigate to the patient assessment you wish to use the other treatment option for. 
  2. Under Other Pharmacologic Therapy, enter free-text information in the relevant field:
  1. What other agent(s) do you wish to prescribe: Exports the drug information directly to the main prescription, which is automatically generated.
  2. What other agent(s) do you wish to recommend: Exports the information to a second prescription designated for non-prescription and natural health product recommendations, which is also automatically generated.
