MAPflow allows pharmacists to prescribe medications that are not captured within MAPflow's treatment algorithms.
How to Utilize the Other Treatment Option
- Navigate to the patient assessment you wish to use the other treatment option for.
- Under Other Pharmacologic Therapy, enter free-text information in the relevant field:
- What other agent(s) do you wish to prescribe: Exports the drug information directly to the main prescription, which is automatically generated.
- What other agent(s) do you wish to recommend: Exports the information to a second prescription designated for non-prescription and natural health product recommendations, which is also automatically generated.
