Overview
Demo patients are used only for practice and do not affect pharmacy statistics. In addition to the DEMO PATIENT provided, MAPflow users can now create multiple demo patients with different characteristics to practice a variety of clinical assessments.
How to Add a New Demo Patient
- From the Dashboard, select the Patients tab from the left-hand menu
- Select Add New Patient.
- Complete the required fields in the patient information form with the desired information. Fields marked with a red asterisk are mandatory.
- Select the box labelled This patient is a demo patient used for testing purposes.
- Deselect the box labelled “The patient has a provincial/territorial health card”, as this prompts required questions not needed for demo patients (e.g., health card number). Alternatively, should you leave this box selected, there is the option to enter a fake health card number and province.
- Select Add New Patient to create and save the Demo patient profile
